wacma: Need Advice on getting referral for sa new MRI from my Doc...

Hello All,

Here I am again with another question..

I heard from Dr. Heffez on Friday after sending in my MRI on Monday.. ( Very

Pleased with his Promptness he actually called Thurs. night I wasnt home )

He needs a cervical MRI of my brain , neck and spine. I was hoping to get

some answer from from what I sent to him but he is unable to read it and

give a proper dx he says without the others..

My Question is : How do I get a already reluctant Dr. to give me a new

full set of test when they only think it is Fibromyalgia and CFS... ? I am

very discouraged and down and the only thing I can do is PLEAD and BEG and

if I am wrong about it all, then I will have to continue seeing this Dr. .

I have Blue Care Network and I have had to do all of this on my own so far

since I havent had a dx of Chiari. I am afraid I will end up paying for all

these new procedures on my own if he doesnt ok them ..? Any Suggestions

are greatly appreciated.

Im doing pretty good considering .. best week I have had in a long time ..

and wondering if it is all in my head or I am wishing to much to find a

answer for these mysterious illnesses we all have .I would love to do more to

support the people in my area , but afraid to start up something if I dont

have it .
