Guest guest
Joni & , Welcome to CHARGEland! It's so nice to see such dedicated people working with our kids. I feel so lucky for having my hearing & vision teachers for my daughter! It must've been so exciting for to start walking, I'm still counting the days for my little girl to walk. She'll get there when she's ready. I"m sure you've noticed already probably that these guys do things when they're good and ready!!! Hope you enjoy the list and if we can be of help about anything, just sing out! My name is Joni Hunt. I am a teacher of preschool children with hearing loss in Greensburg, PA. I read the list because I have a wonderful little boy in my classroom who is diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome. is 4 years old, and he just started walking independently in school! He also recently received glasses. Mom wasn't sure he would wear them, but he does wear them most of the day in our room. We take them off when we go to gym class, or rather while we are there. He does not speak verbally yet, but his signs are increasing daily, as is his ability to understand verbal and signed language. is an inspiration to me and my assistants, as well as the students, faculty, and staff of the elementary school where my class is based.
