Guest guest Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 So, here it is day 16 of being back on pred (just uppped from 7.5 to 8.75). Temps still suck (and so does my attitude). Day 14 temps were very stable. All other days temps bounced all over from 97.7 to 98.7. Is there anything that I might be doing wrong? I don't understand how this could effect my temps throughout the day but, there's only one way to find out if it works. In your case do sleeping pills effect your temps throughout the day? unstable? I would have thought that, since I'm takin pred, nutritional issues are not effected as they would be if I were trying a more 'natural' approach to healing my adrenals. Unfortunately, my weak adrenals cause me to 'crave' alcohol. I usually drink my wine with 50% water. I noticed that one of my adrenal books comments that craving alcohol can happen with weak adrenals. I NEVER had this before starting thyroid meds...strange. Maybe it's a form of hypoglycemia. I went to a thyroid/ adrenal doc. and he put me on a candida ( yeast)cleanse When you have a over growth of yeast in your body It can cause all kinds of problems with your thyroid, adrenals, any hormones. I have been on the cleanse since the 12th and my depression went away! Two days after I was on it. You can eat a lot of foods. But you have to stay away from sugar,and yeast product theses thing feed the yeast and does not let you get well. Thanks Steph Oh, such great advice but how!!!??? The cravings I have are killing me. I just don't understand how it can work and than not work. But I stopped the wine for a while and I'll see what happens.
