Guest guest
Candace, B/c I have endometriosis I have the potential to get adhesions and it's b/c of that potential that my dr is agreeing that we should go ahead and do a vaginal biopsy to make sure that I don't have adhesions or endo in that area. It is becoming apparent that some ladies with endo will literally get endo in their vaginal area in addition to the other female organs, bowel, and bladder as well sometimes the lung and even the brain in some cases. As of yet there is no known connection between vulvodynia and Endometriosis according to the information that my dr had at the time that was current. However, I've met other ladies (one of them used to be on this list) that have both endo and vulvodynia. I did write a while back to the Endo Association asking for a call of about how many members might also have vulvodynia as well as endo to see if we could find a potential connection and so far I've not gotten a response. In the mean time I wrote a mass e-mail to the OB/GYN residents and interns here in the ville, FL area that are here at the satellite Campus of the University of FL Medical School to promote awareness of Endo and Vulvodynia. I only sent out the e-mail a few days ago and no response yet. I will let everyone know if I do get a response whenever I get the first one. Take care and have a good day. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Cool, How is it you have the email addresses of these people? Guest guest
I got the e-mail addresses from the hospital webpage and it has a listing of all the residents and interns here in my area. Some of the other medical schools such as Emory up in Atlanta have the same set up and I'm about to e-mail them soon too. Eventually I want to be able to e-mail all the OB/GYN residents of these medical schools (as I see their e-mail addresses listed) to get the word out. I will let you know what happens. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Lona, I went to the site and read it carefully. I checked my clitoris and couldn't find it. I know it is there because I have seen it in the past - many years ago. But I found the hood. As a matter of fact that area has been extremely sensitive for decades and I could never touch it because it was too sensitive. Today I was very careful and actually was able to touch it and even to put some vaseline on it and sort of massage it in. I couldn't find the clitoris so I guess it is buried in there somewhere but around the hood and inside it looked clean - no white stuff. But I am rather thrilled that I could actually touch it. I will get a standup mirror and maybe I will be more successful using both hands. Guest guest
Ora, It was such a relief to have the doctor remove them, and it was not that painful. You might consider doing that, rather than spending all that time working on it. He figures mine have been there for five to six years.
