Guest guest
Iam two months post op and am feeling better, however I have many of the same symptoms I had before, including double vision and headaches. I have been working for a month and this week I worked full time and feel pretty good, with no serious headaches and such. I also have started exercising slowly and when I over do it my body lets me know and I slow down. Everone seems to be different about thier recovery and move at a different pace. I just felt worst being " sick " after my surgery and felt better being active. I accept but don't like the prospect of never having my vision return to normal espically since I was diagnosed with a rare variation of closed angle glaucoma three days post op, and am still in treatment to stablize that dis-ease. Keeping a positive attitude and feeling gratefull that things are not worse or as bad as some helps when I feel depressed. When I was first diagnosed I was scared and thought my life as I know it would be over and through this site I have learnt that is NOT the case. Many folks move on and live with various forms of relief and or acceptance and as Chip states do not get stuck on Targer Fixation, and move on with thier lives PS. EMG's do suck Peace Charlie ACM/SM Glaucoma two months post op
