Adrenals not testing , taking cortef any danger?

HI:

Im new and thank you for letting me join your group. I have a quick

question if I may please.

My doctor prescribed to me a few months or cortef to take 5 mg 2x

daily for a few months. My adrenals werent tested. Theres probably no

doubt I have adrenal issues because of my work schedule and no sleep

the last 5 years, but in the slight chance my ravaged body has

adrenals that are working fine, what damage can I do to myself by

taking 5mg of cortef twice a day?

I am also taking 3 grains of armour daily.
