At work, I'm dealing with a government report form (actually, several

forms) on the web. One of them requires that I enter the number of

degree recipients in each department. Instead of presenting me with a

list of departments connected to a stack of boxes into which I type

numbers, the form requires me to click to unscroll the list of

departments each time (there are as many clickable scrolls as there

are items on the list; each scroll contains the same list). Since the

university where I works grants degrees in majors that do not line up

exactly with the fields listed in the web page's scroll, I need to

have a list of what's on that scroll so I can decide which of our

majors to allot to which of the government's categories.

So far, I have not been able to figure out any way to print the

contents of that scroll. (I had to click on it to unscroll it, then

copied it all by hand.) Does anyone know if there is a way to

unscroll such web devices in order to print their contents?

Hmm... Well I'm not sure if this will work for you but this is what I do when I

have

problems with stuff that doesn't want to work to my satisfaction.

If possible send the form (or whatever) to yourself at your e'mail address and

see if you

can do what you want that way. Sometimes it makes things work.

Sorry if this sounds wierd. I've been away for four days and just got back. Good

luck,

Kellie
