Guest guest
Hello all, I just had a thought about tap water and salt. When I'm going to be cooking chicken, I soak my chicken in salt water for about 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes longer. I learned years ago that this kills germs in the chicken. Well, consider places like the Dead Sea. People go there to swim in it for health reasons. You've probably also heard someone say that when they swim in the ocean, it heals their sores or skin problems. Probably a combination of the sun and sea water. A friend of mine used to get mouth ulcers and when he did, he'd put salt directly on it. It burned like heck, but it very quickly healed his ulder. But maybe if there's germs in our tap water, the sea salt takes care of this. Do y'all think this could be the case? It's just a thought.
