Does it indicate adrenal issues if it lowers on standing? and how long do you have to wait after standing up? thanks. For instance, I have not been taking basal temps just the daily averages. So to do Dr Rind's graph for thyroid just use basal temps? M BP right now is 144/85, pulse 92, average temps low and stable. I have cut back Armour by quarter grain in the last week. As you know i have also cut back h.c from 30 to 22 1/2 on Sunday. Any comments? Thanks. Mo Well high blood pressure is a symptoms of too high cortisol, so anything above 130/80 would be suspect, BUT this can also be caused by low thyroid, so then you turn to the pulse. Most adults in average to poor athletic condition which I certainly am, will have a pulse in the 80-90 range. Higher than that I believe it is time to cut thyroid back a bit, and I confirm that with temps. Basal temps I feel are best for determining thyroid status and the three time a day average, per Dr Rind is best for adrenal status. I am sorry about your fingers Val, the typos are not not noticeable, at least not to my no-brain brain lol I semi-sliced the top off of my left index finger so I have some understanding of what you must be experiencing I think - for me it is like if all the fingers on the hand don't work, then I cannot just use the remaining ones that do, I have to type with one finger on both hands. wierd! Guest guest
Well some of my testing is in! I just got home from a clinic where I volunteered to test a new drug (OMG am I crazy or what?) but one of the reasons I decided to do this was all the free testing I get with it! LOL I just had an EKG this AM which showed my heart HEALTHY!!! In fact very healthy for my age. My BP was 128/75 and my Mammo looks completely normal. I have CC labs on the way they received them on the 15th so I am holding my breath for those cortisol results! And thyroid labs too. This EKG was scary after having CHF so bad I was told I would die soon. No A-fib at all, so my HIGH T3 doses are not doing damage but rather helping me. Oh this is sweet revenge on the docs I went to 10 years ago. If I could remember their names they would EACH get a copy of these labs. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Do you mean the digit after the decimal because there is only one digit after it? From what I know, Dr. believes that a 10 day temperature average should be done counting from the first day of a women’s menstrual cycle as a tool to check for hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism. A range of 97.8 to 98.2 would indicate normal thyroid function. BUT, from an experts on ovulation and reproduction, BBT will naturally be lower during the first two weeks of a woman's cycle. Her body temperature is lower (97.0 to 97.5 F), due to the presence of estrogen. The average range of BBTs is between 97.0-97.7 before ovulation and 97.7-99.0 after ovulation. Ideally, a woman's temperature will not bounce around more than ..5 degrees in the follicular phase and will stay above the coverline during the luteal phase. With ovulation, a rise in body temperature takes place - caused by an increase of the hormone progesterone - in order to provide a warmer, more fertile environment in the womb. A minimum temperature rise of 0.4 to 0.6 degrees F can be measured - and this change will last through the duration of the menstrual cycle. By monitoring when this temperature change takes place, you can estimate when ovulation has taken place. I have seen different average temperature ranges from different doctors and would like to know the most recent study to determine which is correct. Would it be more correct to say to check your thyroid if a women’s temperature averages below 97.0 or above 97.7 during the first two weeks of her menstrual cycle? --- wrote: > >>So to do Dr Rind's graph for thyroid just use > basal temps? > M BP right now is 144/85, pulse 92, average temps > low and stable. Guest guest
>>I did not realize low thyroid could cause high blood pressure?<< Yes when you retain fluids from hypo your blood volume goes way up creating high blood pressure. This is why fluid reducers work better for this kind of high blood pressure than drugs like Atenolol which can sometimes make it WORSE as they lower thyroid activity. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Val: I know what you mean. I had a bad case of Lyme and had my fillings removed last year. I quit a job where I was being harassed. I must not remember what I did because every job I have applied for since, I have not gotten! This is so different than my having gotten every job I applied for the previous year, and other years when I was applying. I had hear that school systems could black ball you and prevent you from getting a job, but this is ridiculous. My memory was really bad during the time of the fillings removal and I was so mercury toxic that I literally could not remember something I heard or did, just moments before. Chelation did clear up the memory problem, but now I am stuck with no job. -- Re: pulse >>Why don't you send a copy of those labs to the docs you went to 10 years ago<< Because I was SO sick then that time in my life is literally a blur. I know I was seeing four specialists and their specialties, but I couldn't remember their names or even the towns they were in. It is like that part of my life was just a bad nightmare where you only remember small portions of it, usually the worst. Scary how this disease can just remove portions of your life even from your memory. Guest guest
Sea salt will not build too high in your blood as it is processed appropriately unlike table salt. BUT your high sodium levels indicate much better adrenal status! Sea salt for me DID reduce fluid retention. When your body is low in salt it will retain fluids in an effort to conserve what salt ti has, thus taking salt will relieve fluid retention. Hang on with all the testing I had done, was a CBC which includes sodium and potassium levels. So I will be able to tell you what 10 years of HIGH sea salt consumption has done for my blood levels of sodium.I should have these results in the next 2 weeks. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
