Aha, mystery solved Dustie: You MUST receive individual emails from

the group to get attachments. If you are not receiving ind. emails

from our group, it looks like will NOT attach the photo to the

webpage. It makes sense to me now. , I rec'd 's picture

in my email, again though, I receive ind. emails to read posts.

attachments from the Messages area were permanently removed.

Who is affected by this change?

This change applies to all groups. However, only members who view

attachments in the Messages section are affected by the change.

Again, please remember that email attachments will continue to be

delivered to members who receive email messages from the group.

Why did you make these changes?

We implemented a number of service changes that will allow us to

continue offering a compelling, high-quality, and free service. Going

forward, the Messages area will be used only for sharing text-based

content, such as newsletters and discussions.

What if I didn't move my group's files from the Messages section to

the Files or Photos areas before they were removed? Can I get them

back?

Groups moderators were notified in email and notifications were

posted on the Groups web site in advance of these changes.

Unfortunately, now that the attachments are deleted from the Messages

section, they cannot be recovered.

Where messages with attachments deleted or just the attachments

themselves?

All of your group messages remain. Only the attachments were deleted.
