Guest guest
Angie-- Since you asked about where to eat in the points range, I'll tell you what my leader told me. When you eat on the high end of your points range, you " stoke " your metabolism as if it were a fire. This way your body is primed to burn off more calories throughout the day. You increase this effect by exercising, and your body probably really needs those 5-6 more points left in your range to burn at peak efficiency. So, don't feel bad about eating at the top of your range, especially if you are earning activity points on a regular basis. Go ahead and eat at the top of your range for a week and see what kind of results you get, then judge for yourself whether it's a good strategy for you. This also assumes that you aren't banking points for a special event or night out...so take that into consideration. I like to have a little breathing room when I'm approaching the weekend, since I never know when I might need a few extra for a meal out or a drink with a friend. Good luck! Amy I bought an XL Glider and have been on it 2 -3 times a day for 30 minutes a time and keep wondering when I will see the results. I am thinking that maybe I am not eating my points right. I am allotted 24-31 points a day and I am eating around 25-26 then and I am getting anywhere between 4-6 for exercise a day. I was thinking maybe I needed to eat a little more and thought some of you seasoned at this could help me with that Angie R ---------------------------------

I still use ground beef. If you look carefully, you can buy really lean hamburger and it has the same amount of fat as ground turkey. We have also found some roast beef in the local deli section that is 2 oz for 1 point! It is so lean and very good. ~Y~ Shop 24 hours a day! I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, it's a spray that you can find in the dairy/butter section of the grocery store. I don't like it on popcorn because it makes it cold and soggy, but it's good on other things. ~Y~ Shop 24 hours a day! It is very good, comes in different flavors. Everyone raves about Skinny Cows, but I wasn't all that impressed. They are quite expensive for one thing, and the taste was a little " off " . I like to make my own ice cream sandwiches with chocolate graham crackers and mint choc chip Healthy Choice ice cream. Or we buy the regular fudge pops or Edy's Lite ice cream and have it in a cake cone for 2 pts. We always have some sort of treat before bed. I also keep the bite size Snickers in the freezer for a 1 point treat. ~Y~ Shop 24 hours a day! The drops in points didn't bother me the first time, but the second time was really rough. This last one wasn't bad at all. I guess I learned something, huh? ~Y~ Shop 24 hours a day!
