Guest guest
I have just written to a retailer of the above product to ask how if might affect someone with low levels of cortisol. It is being advertised as good for lowering high cortisol. I was tested 18 months ago and my levels were low. I don't know how 18 months tx with h.c would have affected the present levels. Has anyone gone back for a second lot of testing in a similar situation. What were the results. Can we assume that low levels with rise and high levels lower, normalise after a year and half of h.c or not??? I have had a LOT of stress in this time and wonder if, in this situation, the taking of h.c would likely have no effect at all??????? Any thoughts peeps? I took PS before and do you know in what ways these differ by any chance? Thanks. Mo NOVA Counselling & Healing Services
Guest guest
hi Mo, I'm usu the LEAST informative of the lot, but got interested as i just started seriphos (2 wks) and it seems to help me sleep. what i was wary of is, i knew seriphos calms ur HPA axis so guessed it prob had some effect on cortisol, so i timed taking it v close to getting to bed. But now i might have the same worries as you... i hope it doesn't lower DAYTIME cortisol. my cortisol is def. V. LOW in the morning/early P.M. as i did a salivary profile, and all in all my 24 hr urine shows v. low as well. i am also on h/c now, thanks to advice from diana and Jen. my hunch is, as long as seriphos is only taken before bed at night (when ur cortisol should be low anyway) the h/c should replenish ur cortisol throughout the day. thats what i HOPE, anyway. sorry havent been of much help. just thought i'd share my sitch w/ u as i'm taking both h/c and seriphos right now.
