Unfortunately, I can't understand any of it. When I try, I get sick with frustration. Jane
Guest guest
I am majoring in Computers in College right now, so if you, or anyone else, has any computer specific questions, I am the one to ask about that. That is a very strong strength of mine. probably one of the few strengths I can safely say I DO have in this world. hehe any Windows compatible laptop would probably work for you. I don't think your problem is hardware related though, I think your problem is you need to get ahold of adobe reader for the mac, so we're talking about a " software " issue here. you just don't have the software that you need, which you can get rather easily without having to buy another computer if you wanna Tom > If anyone has the expertise and the time, I'd appreciate knowing > whether this system http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Software_components > looks like it would be able to download audio books from the library. > This page http://www.spl.org/default.asp?pageID=collection_digibooks > is about what the library has. > > I am a complete ignoramus when it comes to computers and computer > language. I don't know if you can answer this: After more than a year of putting up with " Norton nags " (those annoying windows that pop up every day to tell you that your subscription has expired) I finally renewed my subscription. I paid by credit card, downloaded the program I wanted and installed it. That should've been the end of it, right? Well, I wasn't. I still got a window popping up every day telling me to renew. When I clicked on it the first few times it wanted me to pay for it again, but I already did. They took the money out of my account already, I checked. Help? D.
