Hi All,

Went to another doctor today, and don't have bacteria.

So, that means I have vulvodynia now, progressed from

vestibulitis. This is a whole new ball game. I guess

this is it, unless I am having a 3 week flare, and

after a full year, I have never had a flare, so that

is unlikely. Needless to say, this hasn't been a

great day, and I am two Rum and Cokes down. Anyway,

my grandmother is a retired RN, and was visiting this

weekend. She is very helpful, and suggested yoga

(which she is very in to) and just called to tell me

that she uses Tronolane (brand name) to relieve

ithcing and burning of hemmorhoids (however you spell

that). I am wondering if anyone has considered this,

especially those of you with vuvlodynia who are

constantly aware of a burning in your " crotch " that

worsens when you sit down. The ingredients are as

follows:

Active: Pramoxine hydrochloride 1%

Inactive: beeswax, cetyl alcohol, cetyl esters was,

glycerin, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, sodium

lauryl sulfate, zinc oxide.

I am wondering if this could offer relief, or if it

could cause damage to the skin.

Please get back to me if you know anything about this,

I would really appreciate it.

Also, how does anyone deal with the guilt of depriving

their wonderful husbands of a sex life? I too miss

the act of intercourse and worry that this will

continue to get worse, as it has. I have actually

recently considered divorce, because my husband is so

wonderful, he deserves a better situation and marriage

than I can offer ... potentially for the rest of our

lives. When I suggested it, he told me to stop being

so mean to myself, but I just feel awful for not being

a " normal " wife, and not my " normal " self who enjoys

intimacy with him ...

Anyway, perhaps I am rambling due to too much rum ...

Thanks,
