My son has PANDAS and I see his symptoms flare while we are killing worms. I

think his strep lives in the worms and comes out as we kill the worms.

I do not know about zithro and alinia together. Perhaps you might try OLE.

My son finished the protocol at the end of Dec and we had to do half doses most of the way through it due to liver and GB congestion. I know others have been fine and didnt have any problems. However, I would not advise the two together as the meds are stronger and are not normally meant to be taken for 2 wks straight. We are still really struggling w liver drainage- 3 wks after finishing. Be sure to keep up with liver and GB protocols while you are doing this. I dont think we did nearly enough castor packs and epsom baths - even though we did it fairly frequently..

Imagine you will have to stop alinia and start the abx if it is postiive strep infection (assuming you are talking about acute and not chronic strep as you mentioned urgent care).

For my son, I was told to start Zithromax and the anti-parastic protocol

together and use activated charcoal as much as needed. I was too concerned to

start several different drugs simultaneously and decided to start with Zithromax

first. My son is doing alright with Zithromax, so I will be adding in the

anti-parasitic drugs.

I believe my son is showing signs of liver problems. He is on azithro 250mg every other day and has a weird ash look to his face. He used to get this way when he took Strattera and he always had liver tests that showed his liver was being affected. What are some good ways to detox the liver while on Azithromycin? According to Buhner, milk thistle is the best liver protective herb. It is high in phenolic compounds though.
