I agreed with Tory, don't wait just do it! I stared regular gym

sessions at 280lbs after losing the first 10lb. I very nearly didn't

with concerns about what other people will think and I too thought

I'd start when " I'd lost some more " but I'm glad I took the plunge

when I did. The improvements in my general fitness in just a few

weeks were dramatic and the weightloss was speedy too. Things have

slowed down now both the physical changes and the weightloss but even

now at still at over 250 lbs, I know I am fitter than many of

my 'skinny' friends.

By exercising I've discovered things about my body that I did not

know. For one, I have a good lung capacity. I'm also much stronger

than I imagined even my upper body where I felt like a weakling when

I started being hardly able to chest press 15lb (I now do 35lb with

ease). My blood pressure's decrease, my resting heart rate lowered

and my self-cofidence in my physical abilities has increased. I'm

even starting to think of doing things like skiing or scuba diving

which I would have never contemplated before (even when I weighed

much less that I do now).

So go for it!

I lost 4 pounds this week, and my husband is so happy that I am cooking real

meals. That is an added bonus I never really thought about. He eats the

same food as me, except more of it, so this is going to be good for him also,

he could afford to lose a few pounds also. Congratulations on everyone's

weight loss and maintenance, once is as important as the other. Losing 7

pounds one week than 1, imagine that is 8 pounds in 2 weeks, that is amazing

when you think about it. Please don't get discouraged, there is no magic

number to reach every week, be proud of yourself for your determination to

stay within your points.

Blessings,

ette

at least a pound or 2. I had a terrible week and didn't follow my points very

well. I didn't gain! I only lost half a pound but at least I didn't gain.

That's always a pleasant surprise, when we lose something, especially when we're
