New to Board...Upset with myself

I'm sure that this is a very common feeling among the mothers here,

but I am so upset with myself that my child has plagio. We just saw

my daughter, Jordyn's pediatrician for her 4 month check up today,

and she referred us to Cranial Tech here in Dallas. Jordyn's head

is so flat in the back, I swear it looks like a 2x4! I've tried

repositioning for the last two months, but Jordyn just wiggles right

out of the sleep positioners and away from any blankets I try to use

to keep her on her side. I make sure she gets lots of tummy time,

though she hates it, but it just didn't seem to help. I just keep

thinking there was something more that I could have done. I don't

want my baby to have to go through this. I've been in tears all

afternoon thinking that I've somehow let her down.

Her case is probably just moderate compared to pictures of plagio

that I've seen, so I'm hoping that treatment will be somewhat

brief. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. It will be nice to

talk with others going through the same thing.
