Guest guest
I just read Tinus Smits' book on this topic, and when I Googled I found this site http://www.cease-autism.com He died earlier this year, but has trained some homeopaths in the approach. It sounds interesting but the stories in his book describe a lot of healing reactions on the road to recovery. Guest guest
Hi Lemin Sequential therapy treats obstacles to cure in the reverse order that they are perceived to have occurred, i.e. from present day back towards birth. Each trauma, illness, emotional or physical toxin etc is seen as a layer. Each layer needs to be treated individually - like peeling layers off an onion. There is the view that treating deeper before addressing the upper layers could cause aggravations, while the untreated upper layers continue to be an obstacle to cure. The goal is to reach the Constitutional remedy. CEASE uses a variety of approaches including Isotherapy where the remedies are made from the suspected toxins - anything from antibiotics to vaccinations. CEASE uses a specific formula of ascending potencies over a 8 week period to detox a specific toxin. If the patient has a reaction, the entire course is repeated - this is continued until the control course yields no reactions to any of the 4 potencies (the toxin has been eliminated). The detoxification does not have to follow a particular timeline as in Sequential Therapy (not all medications will leave a long lasting effect). CEASE starts with the substance that is suspected to have the most detrimental effect - this can include heartburn medication or amalgam fillings during pregnancy, death in the family resulting in deep emotional shock, use of antibiotics for mother or baby, etc. Typically medication or trauma during pregnancy and the first 2 years of a child's life are addressed but harmful substances beyond these years will be considered if relevant. In addition to the above, there are a small amount of supplements that are suggested to help nourish the brain and restore the digestive integrity - and support the patient physically during the elimination process. CEASE also uses what Smits called Inspiring Homeopathy - he identified universal layers which are relevant in treating ASD, eg patients with external stimuli issues can be helped by the remedy Vernix Caseosa as it addresses the lack of protection. Anacardium addresses those with aggression to name two. Plus whare appropriate, the homeopath can use Classical homeopathy and prescribe the Constitutional remedy (the goal of Sequential therapy). Constitutional treatment can be used at any point in the CEASE treatment. I addition to the above I usually prescribe a liver & kidney homeopathic organ support remedy to support the elimination and healing process. I hope this answers your question! x sian collister: homeopath www.autismrecoveryhomeopathy.com CC: detoxhealing@...To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism From: limin@...Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 10:33:03 -0700Subject: Re: Re: CEASE THERAPY Would you kindly compare the difference and similarity or commonality between CEASE and sequential homeopath? Guest guest
This is seems to be a beautiful process. I am wondering how the remedy ismade from the specific toxin? For instance, pesticide spraying? how would they obtain that remedy? Guest guest
It depends on the pharmacy or homeopath involved in the making of the remedy. Some pesticides are readily available - some farmers use homeopathy so are potential sources for remedies. There are literally thousands of remedies including the newer 'imponderables'. The remedy Vernix that I mentioned earlier was made from the vernix of 10 newborn babies. The possibilities are endless - If you know what triggered your health options, this is a real treatment option, it can go beyond treating autism sian collister: homeopath www.autismrecoveryhomeopathy.com homeopathy has the answers To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism From: seabluedolphin16@...Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 15:46:19 -0400Subject: Re: Re: CEASE THERAPY This is seems to be a beautiful process. Guest guest
I am treating children on the spectrum with it. It is not a quick fix - even Tinus Smits who was very experienced with this method typically treated children for approximately 2 years (his goal was full recovery). Saying that, we are all different and some children respond quicker than others. Equally, for various reasons, Homeopathy is not for everyone sian collister: homeopath www.autismrecoveryhomeopathy.com homeopathy has the answers To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism From: dhooten@...Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 21:40:44 +0000Subject: Re: CEASE THERAPY So...are you using for your family and have you seen any +/- with it?> > > > I am a homeopath using CEASE and would be happy to answer any questions! xxx> > Sent from my HTC> > ----- Reply message -----> > Date: Fri, Nov 5, 2010 14:43> Subject: Re: CEASE THERAPY> To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >> > I just read Tinus Smits' book on this topic, and when I Googled I found this site> > http://www.cease-autism.com> > He died earlier this year, but has trained some homeopaths in the approach. Guest guest
are there homeopathic liver support remedies that work, and are obtainable without a homeopath?
Guest guest
Hi Tammy Homeopathy is different to conventional medicine in that we don't have headache tablets, or fever tablets etc. Each remedy is based on the individual's unique experience of their symptoms. For example, someone may experience a pulsating headache, another a left-sided or right-sided headache, for another it feels like their head is being split open with an axe. There are various remedies used for bites - whether you have any swelling, heat, inflammation, itching, quality of pain, numbness, discolouration, pus, etc will determine what remedy you need. Feel free to email me your symptoms and I'd be happy to recommend a remedy! x sian collister: homeopath www.autismrecoveryhomeopathy.com homeopathy has the answers To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism From: stoplyme@...Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 18:52:09 -0500Subject: Re: Re: CEASE THERAPY Is there a homeopathic remedy for after a tick bite????And do you need a prescription for it.?Thank You for your knowledge,Tammy F. are there homeopathic liver support remedies that work, and are obtainable without a homeopath? Guest guest
THANK YOU. detox may be literally killing me. i just keep going downhill. is liver support what i need? this is my guess. yes, there are. you should be able to get low potency, organ support remedies from your local homeopathic pharmacy. most homeopathic pharmacies will also offer free advice. i use helios which is in the UK but I believe they ship internationally too. you can contact them by phone or email - www.helios.couk a good comination remedy that i use and that supports both liver & kidneys is: chelidonium, colesternium & berberis 6x, although speak to the pharmacist when you order. sian collister: homeopath www.autismrecoveryhomeopathy.com homeopathy has the answers To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism From: sletteer@...Date: Fri, 5 Nov 2010 16:06:37 -0700Subject: RE: Re: CEASE THERAPY are there homeopathic liver support remedies that work, and are obtainable without a homeopath? Guest guest
Sally- Thank you for the information. My son is also older, he is 14 years old. He is been treated by Aviva Waldstein, they have their office in Aurora, Colorado. He just took his remedy two weeks ago, so a little early to say if it's working. This is our third attempt at Homeopathy so we will see. Good luck with Dr.Herring.
