US vs metric measurements

Here is a chart that shows the measurements for us in the US and those in

other countries. It also includes GlucoProtein, which is a 2 week test done

with an InCharge meter. I think the coversion is to multiply or divide by

18??? IMHO 8 is very high. I would think the ideal would be 6. Barb

The column titled Hba1c or non US bs measurement is WRONG

it does give one of the standard estimates for HbA1c vs. glucose but it

doesn't equate with mmol/l measurements 300/18 = 16.7 not 12;

270/18 = 15 not 11!

to convert mmol/l to mg/dl multiply by 18

to convert mg/dl to mmol/l divide by 18
