OFF TOPIC - Just have to share

Hello All!

I just wanted to share one of the most awesome 'mommy' moments in my

life. For those of you that don't know, I am Mom to two wonderful

boys. My oldest is a breath away from being 17 and the youngest is

8. They are two of the most amazing people I have ever met and I

continue to marvel at the fact that they are related to me!

Anyway, my oldest is very active in Drama and Stage. He has come so

far! The other night he was part of a dinner theater production at

his school of 'Midsummer Night Dream.' He played the Wall! It was

his finest performance yet. His timing was dead on, inflection, he

remembered every word on spot,...it was WOW.

Last night, my youngest was part of a musical performance and sang in

French! You should have seen him just beaming proud when they were

done!

I know we share so much of our pasts, so much of it painful and

dark. Some of us are still there but,...I guess I'm just trying to

show the hope for the future. I never imagined my life would be so

full, so bright and so good. I am proud to the point of tears of

these young people that I helped bring into this world!! They are so

different from me and will never have to deal with the abusive past I

dealt with. Anyway,....proud mamma here just sharing an incredible

time!

Bravo! As a francophile, I'm particularly proud of the delivery in

French! Both sound like they nailed their parts.

And being a good mom is ON topic, in my opinion -- I'm sure you're so

proud. Enjoy the moment -- savor it.

They sound like wonderful, intelligent, talented kids, congrats for

doing such a great job with them. It's wonderful to think there are

parents out there nurturing their kids rather than being threatened by

them and trying to thwart them. Congrats on their acheivements!

Thank you. The best part about it is to see how proud they are of

their own individuality and hard work. It is awesome to see their

own personalities develop. They are both so different from me and I

LOVE it! My oldest boy is such a good kid and after struggling in

his tween years with bullies, grades and finding friends he has

really blossomed in Drama (something I was too painfully shy to

attempt) and Stage. The little guy is just a trooper,...very very

fun and athletic. Since my FOO was filled with girls, it is a blast

having boys.
