Guest guest
Hi Diane , I was so happy to hear from you. I am 56 and have been veery active all my life and very healthy up til now. I have only had 7 colds in 56 years and had never had the flu. Now it is hard to do anything. I also have Lupus which also has no cure. Because of the Lupus I have no immune system and they cannot give me steroids. I use to try to always have a balanced diet and get my sleep but it seems to no avail. I do have 1 very bad habit and that is smoking. The doctors doen't say much about that anymore as it doesn't make any difference. I have always done a lot of crafts and worked in a fabric store for years. I always have about 4 projects going at once. I t does help to keep my mind occupied. I knit, crochet,do bead work and counted cross stitch. I have three projects going now. This has been a rough week as I was out with the kids sunday and forgot I had the seat belt and on tried to get up and jamed my ribs from front to back. " Dumb " . I am still in a lot of pain. Yes there is always hope. The two forms of cancer I have are bone marrow and mellanoma. The Chiari surgery was in Jan. of 98. I just like to keep my doctors busy. Please, I take all ideas as to knows what will help. I would like to know how much longer I can stay strong, although I don't know that that is the right word. This is the first time I have seen any post about our emotional feelings. Well this is now a book. Sorry to bend your ear. I probably should not have posted today in my mood. Thanks guys for the listening ear. Love you all and keep the faith.
