Goran May I ask if he has been on prednisone or other steroids previously? Proteus can overgrow in people who have had their immune systems suppressed by medications like prednisone, or people who have spent some time in the hospital. I think you should have his pee cultured as well, as you could run into problems with stones in the urinary tract with that kind of infection. There is a homeopathic remedy (pyrogenium) that helps with certain infections, including proteus, but the symptoms must fit the remedy for it to be of use. I have posted one link here:

bacteria fights bad bacteria. A couple of times we've had to fight a bacterial infection, we were put on high dose probiotics (good bacteria) to fight the bad bacteria....this may also help you in the yeast problems too.Last suggestion for you to look into (do not use unless you've looked into) would be along the herbal lines since you are out of the country. LDM-100 (GO SLOW) has some good natural anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties (including for UTI's)...I would probably recommend pulsing it w/some anti-parasitics like Barlow's Herbal's ia-100.
