I have had that happen with ART testing where a couple of things I would have stayed away from tested for my dd and for the most part went ahead and used them. HTH, Roseann Supernatant Hi all, Recently one of the new probiotics that was prescribed for my son by his doctor is Supernatant by BioImmersion Inc (tested with ART testing). However, now when I received that supplement I noticed that has Streptococcus thermophilus. My son has strep (showing with mild OCD) so I was told before that I need to avoid any probiotic that has in the ingredients bacteria that starts with strep because it may make his strep symptoms worse. On the other hand the ART testing showed that his body wants it and supposedly the Supernatant helps with clostridia problems, which my son has. So I am really confused what to do. Has anybody used this probiotic to your kid and have you noticed worsening of the OCD behavior after that? However, when we were still consulting with HCH (Houston sequential homeopaths that we were consulting with for 1.5 years) they told me my son has strep based on his symptoms - his obsessive behavior that in fact started once we started clearing his vaccines (for instance he is very obsessive with 3 of his toys - he always holds them in his hands even when he sleeps and he likes all the doors to be closed). So basically I think anybody who has some strange behaviours is suspected that has chronic strep. We haven't addressed this problem with Dr. K's protocol yet, but I am extremely cautious not to make it worse. I may try to check with our doctor and see if my son needs it as well.
