Guest guest
Here are a couple of articles I thought I might share. I have always wondered if mothers heart ailment had anything to do with the onset of LBD and now I am almost positive of it. She has a super, super rare disease called Takayasu Arteritis. She is in remission now and has been for 5 or 6 years. Her case was even more unusual because she didn't develop it until she was in her early 50's. It usually begins between 10 and 30 years of age. It is most common in women (90%) of Asian descent. So, I guess somewhere down the ancestral line of my mothers family tree there was an Asian in the mix. It must have been waaaaaay down the line because, trust me, she and are as blonde and fair skinned as they come! Here is a link that tells about it incase anyone is interested: _Takayasu Disease Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment by MedicineNet.com_ (http://www.medicinenet.com/takayasu_disease/article.htm) _Click here: » Pathological Heart Rhythm Is Related To Alzheimer’s Disease Health for all_ (http://blogfriends.com/everxjen84/pathological-heart-rhythm-is-related-to-alzhe\ imers-disease/) _» High Blood Pressure May Prognosticate Dementia in Some Elderly Peoples Health for all_ (http://blogfriends.com/everxjen84/high-blood-pressure-may-prognosticate-dementi\ a-in-some-elderly-peoples/) Hugs, Pammie, proud daughter of the " Little Queen " , 78 years old, Diagn osed with LBD in the fall of 2007, currently taking Exelon Patch, Namenda,Avapro,Verapamil ER, Nexium, Tarazadone and Boneva.
