Guest guest
has anyone ever wondered why only dr. davis finds this stuff? are these things really that obscure that other doctors cant find them? just something ive been thinking about for awhile, kind of makes me mad. :)tess > >Reply-To: VulvarDisorders >To: VulvarDisorders >Subject: Re: Vaginal pH more info >Date: Thu, 26 Apr 2001 13:41:36 -0000 > > >>Cervical pH ranges between 6.5 and 7.0 in all groups studied.<< > >This explains my situation. Guest guest
Hi Debie and All, Debie - thanks so much for the PH info. I definitely think now that I should get a bacterial culture, right? I have some infrequent discharge, but more than usual, and fishy smell, increased irritation, etc. I am SO worried about the one site that said it could develop potentially into pelvic inflammatory disease which is related to infertility. If it CAN get that serious (even rarely) I am again SO mad that Sobel wouldn't test for it ...! Now I have to go to another doctor soon, and take more time off of work!!! I thought I would take some time before finding another doctor, but now I think I better do this. From what I gather a 5 would mean bacteria, which is the PH I got from taking the measurement twice. Any advice is welcome and sorry for the " rant " ! - --- debiefoxx@... wrote: > Vaginal and cervical pH in normal pregnancy and > pregnancy complicated by > preterm labor. > > Riedewald S, Kreutzmann IM, > Heinze T, Saling E. > > Institute of Perinatal > Medicine, Free University of > Berlin, West Germany. > > A prospective study was > performed in order to > determine vaginal and cervical pH in pregnancy.
