I have heard that it takes some babies a few days to adjust. Teething can definitely affect his personality. Please keep us posted. It does get easier.

Please tell me...

Hello Group-missed ya for a while, we had a family reunion and didn't get the "band" until this week anyway (two weeks late-they were backed up due to 16 more orders!!!!!)Anyway it has been harder than I thought, although I have read so many of these postings and I feel that I am doing the right thing won't some one please tell me that my son's adorable personality will come back some day soon?? He is so sad and agitated! I think his teeth are coming in (two front, he is eight months today so what did I expect??!!) and our air conditioner was broken yesterday (never got that fixed so fast...)So I know it could be other things but I am still an emotional mess-hopefully he hasn't picked up on it! I haven't let him see me cry but....Anyway just needed to put that question out there, I hope I am not the only one who has seen this "personality problem" I want to thank everyone again too-I have learned so much from all of you!~For more plagio info

You have already gotten great responses- and at these young ages we are dealing also with teething, sickness (gas even!) and its so hard to gauge- unless it just started with the helmet coming on, but again, could be just bad timing. As long as those red spots aren't staying longer than an hour, the fit looks good, not too tight, not rubbing ears or covering eyes, it may just be he needs to adjust to the new temp. and/or new hat. Try wiping away the sweat every couple of hours to make sure its not the sweat irritating him. Your still in your first week, which for me, was also very emotional- I have no idea why- I was fully prepared and the one that really wanted this band, but still it was hard accepting it was finally happening I guess. Once you start seeing progress, you will feel so happy you did this- give yourself another week and you may have a whole new perspective. Keep your chin up- let us know how your doing! Hugs :o)
