Guest guest
If you are interested in information regarding Texas Out of Hospital Do Not Resuscitate (OOHDNR), visit the TDH EMS website's DNR page at http://www.tdh.state.tx.us/hcqs/ems/dnrhome.htm If your friend is worried about resuscitative efforts inside the hospital, the OOHDNR does not apply. Questions regarding advanced directives or medical power of attorney should be directed to the hospital staff. At the bottom of the TDH OOHDNR page (above link) is a useful link to a Department of Human Services page regarding the different flavors of advanced directives. > Re: [texasems-L] Fw: firefighter fatality > > > question for all ?? where can I find the DNR /written > specifics?? a friend of mine asked me a question about > DNR /I could not answer " when does DNR papers take > effect ? during surgery, post op. in recovery or when > the patient gets back to his room or home?
