Guest guest
: The same thing has happened to me several times. I read in 's book there some people are fast compensators and their bodies lower their own production of thyroid hormone each time you take your thyroid pill. I am not sure I understand all that but I watched my temp decrease with the addition of Armour thyroid. Today I doubled my dose and so far I do feel better. Maybe understands this mechanism or what to do about it. I have been on strong adrenal support for at least 9 months. -- I'm quitting everything need advice ANYONE..... Well, I don't know what else to do here. I'm having trouble walking, my arms and hands going numb way to frequently, my throat feels like it's swollen inside when I swallow and numerous other crap. I know that I started this all wrong and it's my own doing. I started with the Cdn " Thyroid " ....had a few days where I felt great, better than I have in the last 5 years. Well, I added Isocort and Dhea and Iron to my supplements that I was already taking, Vita C, CoQ10, Salmon Oil. Anyway, I've felt horrible for a 3 weeks now and just can't seem to find a good dosage. So I quit taking everything as of yesterday. What I need to know is: 1 - How long should I not take anything before it gets out of my system? 2 - What should I start with, from what I've been reading I would say the Isocort. But how much? 3 - How long after I start the Isocort should I add in the Thyroid and how much? 4 - When should I add the supplements iron, vita C etc? Thanks so much everyone, this time I'm gonna take it slow and do it right. But you know after 31 years of feeling so crappy and then you get a few days where you could actually walk like a normal person and feel soooooo good, it's like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.....you can't wait to get there so you take off and start running. -
Guest guest
, Please don't blame yourself, I think we all 'can't wait to get better'. With me, it's migraines that make me feel desperate to get myself fixed 'today'. Good luck Lynn S. > Thanks so much everyone, this time I'm gonna take it slow and do it > right. Guest guest
Linn, I'm glad chiropractic worked for you. It didn't help me, but he did say something interesting. When I first got my goiter diagnosis and told him I was going to start Thyroid meds. He said 'I won't drop you, but many chiropractors won't even treat patients who take thyroid meds.' I think, as a group, they don't know the difference between what what natural and synthetic drugs can do to a person! This guy was relentless in trying to convince me to take (and purchase from him of course) Black Cohosh. Even after I told him it made me feel worse(instant migraine). He told me he insists that his wife take it, and he would divorce her if she stopped it again. What a Peach, huh!!! Lynn S. I started seeing a chiropractor in January of this year and no > longer suffer from migraines. He also was able to relieve the lower > back pain I get with my periods also. I have a retroverted uterus > that sits on my spine and caused extreme lower back pain. I'd highly > recommend chiropractic. > > Linn > > > > > , > > Please don't blame yourself, I think we all 'can't wait to get > > better'.
