Hello all! This is Marci – I have to post this message through my husband's account because I have been put on "moderate" in this group. Basically that means that the group owner feels that she needs to read and approve every message I post here.I have been a member of this group since September 2000! My daughter received her locally made helmet in October 2000 and finished her treatment in April 2001. It was a tough journey as all of you know! It had its ups and downs, but one positive constant was always this group. I was made a moderator several months after I joined – in fact, I was the very first moderator! :-)During my time with this group I have had more then my fair share of disagreements, however, I have made a significant effort to keep those feelings and disagreements BEHIND the scenes. In fact, I cannot think of ANY messages that I have EVER posted here that could be considered inappropriate. , I challenge you to find good reason for why my posts should now have to be moderated. Folks, this is a true testament to just how far awry the leadership of this group has gone. Please be aware that any moderator can put your posts on moderate at anytime apparently without a consensus of the moderators as Christie did not know I was being moderated. Does this seem wrong? Dustie who was once put on moderate for her inappropriate comments is now a moderator herself. Does this seem wrong?I am now stepping away from this group. When I stepped down from being a moderator quite some time ago I did not post one ill will message to this group. Why? Because I valued my membership here. My membership in this group no longer holds any value.I am certain that this post will be deleted almost immediately upon being posted. Fine. It is yet another testament to leadership gone wrong. At least all current and former moderators will have something to think about and everyone who receives individual emails as well.All my best to the good folks in this group. All I can say is How Rude! What is going on here? Where has this group gone to? Is this the second grade? Thank you so much for all of your words of wisdome that you have helped all of us out with over the years. You will be missed.
