Guest guest
, my dear, if I could get the glue out of my pants and move around and do things I guess all would be better, but since that chair now has glue in it too, I don't get up like I should. The glue won't allow me to go far anyway. I started having diarrhea months ago, which the doctor attributed to my struggling with Don. Of course the potassium and salt has gotten low. I have gradually been loosing weight, so now she is getting serious about finding the cause. I had blood and urine test for Myeloma of the blood. I am happy to report that is negative. No Myeloma! On the 25th of Aug, I will talk with the Doctor that did a colonscopy in '06. He said I had two Polyps that needed to be looked at in five years. I think they need to be looked at in four years. Like now. Also he may also do another endoscopy. But, the last endoscopy was perfect. Actually he couldn't do the full colonoscopy without poking a hole, so I had to go to another doctor to give me dye. As you know that test turns you over, upside down, and on you head. At least it really didn't hurt. So we will know why I have diarrhea by the time my doctor is through with me. I told her not to leave a stone unturned, but find the cause, and she is. All test for Parasites and mean varmints have been negative. It's just me that is mean. Can't blame it on the varmints. So, if I could get the glue out, the chair would look so much better from a distance. My pants won't look better, because that part of me hasn't gone down much even with the weight loss. Old age is not for sissies. I'm no sissy, I'm going crabbing with the big boys, on Deadliest Catch! I really would like to go fishing, and not with a pole, but with nets like the big boys do that I grew up with. Love a bunch, Imogene In a message dated 7/27/2010 11:32:47 A.M. I think of you often and hope you are feeling better physically, emotionally, in every way possible. You so deserve a better quality of life than your devotion to Don allowed. Guest guest
Thanks Doris, But I have been off dairy products for years. Once in a while when things straighten up a while I'll taste some Blue Bell Ice Cream. That will cause diarrhea in a big hurry. Lunch meat will cause it. Allergies will cause it. It is like when I was trying to figure out what I was allergic to, every tiny and large thing had to be looked at. No, your simplistic suggestion was NOT simplistic. Many people don't realize they need to do a lot of research even before seeing a Doctor. I have had C-Diff once. That was really awful. My sister had diarrhea for a long time. The Doctor diagnosed irritable Bowel Syndrome ( a catch-all term when Doctors don't know) Then, she was diagnosed with Crohns disease. She had cancer. This is the big reason this is being researched, and no leaf left unturned. Thanks for your comeback, Love a lot, Imogene In a message dated 7/29/2010 7:23:11 A.M. We discovered that my mom is lactose intolerant causing whopping big diarrhea. Now that she is off dairy products, it seems to have resolved itself. Just a thought. Guest guest
Thanks for your reassurance. I'll stick with glue for a while. I am eating well. Hey! that Sockeye sounds good for a lot of people I am sure. Wish I was catching them. How exciting that must be. Love you a lot , Imogene In a message dated 7/29/2010 11:23:12 A.M. As for the glue, don't worry about it. It is likely helping you cope with the grieving and weight loss. It will lessen as time passes as long as you can get yourself properly nourished. All the best with the tests. By the way, it looks like the sockeye run could be better here than last year. Perhaps they will make a comeback after all.
