Guest guest
Hi Sharon I was reading the Alzheimers Weekly newsletter (I know this is a Lewy Body Dementia Group) and it was talking about a new treatment that might stop Alzheimers. They are looking for people who would like to be in this last trial phase. You can pull the article up from the link below. I don't know why it isn't blue, so you could just click on it. I thought about you when I was reading this. I would like to participate, but I don't have the disease as of yet. My Daddy has LBD and his mother had AD. Anyway, I thought you might like to read about it, if you haven't already. http://www.alzheimersweekly.com/Research/leptin-potential-hormone-therapy-for-al\ zheimers-a656.html. He had bad case of Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde scenarios. He was showing hallucinations and falling issues since prior to 1994. We moved in to take care of him Jan 19, 2003 and still live in his house. And in feb 2009, i have been diagonosed with 99% probability of lbd. Hoping that a cure or treatment will be found before it's too late for me.
