Val,

I thought I remembered you saying to take the thyroid

meds before HC. But your schedule below says you take

them together.

I had planned on taking the following and appreciate

your thoughts on the dosage shcedule:

7am - HC

11am - Vitamin C & Bs, essential fatty acids, along

with 2nd dose of HC

2pm - Thyroid-S

3pm - 3rd dose of HC

6pm/7pm - 4th dose of HC w/ Vitamin C & Calcium, Cod

liver oil

10pm - Calcium

11pm - Iron

--- Sammie, I know it's hard - especially with the brain fog!

If you follow Val's advice and take your thyroid in the am, then you

could take your iron with your evening meal.

Perhaps you could them take your first dose of calcium in the morning

at breakfast and the second later at night?

I hate to keep asking the same questions but I seem to be going down hill

fast.

I have no energy, have gained 8 pounds in the last two weeks and all I want

to do is eat cinnamon rolls, ice cream, drink sodas, etc. I am too

exhausted to exercise but did so today and I felt like I had lead weights on

my body.

I don't know if I should up my cortef or drop it. Just tired, so tired.

This is fine but why not take your Thyroid at 7AM? Most folks need the

thyroid in the mornings for daily energy. Taking your whole dose at 2PM may

keep you awake at night.

Sugar craving is a sign of low adrenals and the low energy can be either

adrenal or low thyroid. I would be increasing HC first then doing a

thyroid increase.

I have been doing that. My temps have been running 98.3-.4.

I am taking 10-10-5-5 of Cortef a day.

I seem to feel better towards bedtime and then cannot get to sleep until

1:00 or so. I get up sometimes at 7:30, 5:30, 9:30, I never can predict how

worn out I will feel.

Would it help to get some Xylitol or Stevia so at least, during this

temporary carb-fest, you won;t be ingesting too much nasty sugar?

You could make some cinammon pancakes with wholemeal flour, easy and quick

and ice and sweet?

I think it is important to get yourself on a wake sleep schedule.

I have been setting my alarm for 6:30 but I seem to turn it on snooze 3 or 4

times.

Get LOUDER MORE ANNOYING ALARM, AND PUT IT WHERE YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF BED TO

TURN IT OFF! wORKS FOR ME!
