Depending on your insurance and how you feel about

this, go to the emergency room. You could say it hurts

or something, or its oozing or whatever, or that you

are just afraid you are going to die because of it,

just to get in and have someone look at it. The ER doc

probably won't know what to do with you, but will send

you on or have the ob-gyn on call come and look.

Extreme, perhaps, but just an idea.

anne, this isnt a diagnosis or anything, but awhile ago i also had red

pimple like things that itched, and i was diagnosed with molluscum

contagiosum, a rare STD (though contact is not limited to sex). its very

treatable and hasnt returned. i didnt have nearly as much itching as you

have though, but that sounds like a whole different problem. all they did

was freeze them off like warts. just a suggestion you might approach a

doctor with, when you are able to get an appointment. about doctors, another

thing that ive found thats worked when no one has immediate appt's is to

call up and start crying and telling the nurse what pain im in. that always

gets me in immediately.

Did your bumps have pus in them? Mine do. In the end, I found a doctor

(different from my usual doctor) who is able to see me on Wednesday.

I have a suggestion to make, try calling a dermatologist and see what their

schedules are like. They should be able to see you much sooner and would

know what to do since it is external. They may be a better option since they

deal with medical things like this everyday, and they don't deliever babies.

pleased get checked asap. i also had a pimple for a

few months, suddenly got bigger, size of pea, looked

like a cyst, went to doc, gyn, biopcied. was cancer.

sent to oncologist and had surgery on 8-31-00. please
