Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the board and I think this challenge is a great idea. Count me in. A little about myself. I'm a 47 year old mother of 1 boy. Grandmother of 1 boy. My husband of 24 years and I are long haul truckers. I'm supposed to be home on mondays, but in this business you never know. I love this board and am excited about this challenge! Talk to you later, bye. --- jcwimmer@... wrote: > Hey there... > > The military - every year - has their " 100 critical days of summer " . Guest guest
oooo.... I'll bite. However, I have a strong tendency to jump on things like this, then get busy with life and forget about them. Will we be having any sort of regular check in with each other -- I mean besides the weekly weigh in? That would be a huge help to me. I'd even volunteer to set up a separate yahoo list just for that if the rest of this list didn't want to read about us. Or maybe I should just join the journal list.... ~ Zan Friendswood, TX AOL/Yahoo ~ gypsymama21
Guest guest
I think we should do a website or something like that. Something visual can really be helpful. Guest guest
Hello, I am so glad I found this Group! Just joined tonight. I have been on WW for 8 months now, and am down to my last 10 pounds before goal, and am finding it realy difficult to stay on the program. I " m in for this challange as well. I think this is just what I need to get back on track. Good luck to all, and Thanks for the motivation. Guest guest
I am so excited to get started with this new challange. I believe this is JUST what I needed to get my last 10 pounds off. I started WW in Sept of 2001. I have gone from 194 down to 154. I am 5'4. My jeans are now a size 8, down from a size 14, pushing 16. I have bones I haven't seen in years. I drink lots of water every day, about 2 liters. I climb the stairs every chance I get, and I work in an 8 floor building with two flights of stairs between every floor. I really haven't excersized all that much, so in this 100 days, My goal is to form a habit of some sort of excersize. With the weather warming up her in WA, I know I can make that goal a reality. Thank you all for allowing us to do this challange together. I have already marked my day planner counting down the days. Good luck to all of us!! Vicki Kathy wrote: OK ... today is the first of our 100 day challenge! In 21 days we will have formed good habits, after 100 it will be an automatic way of life ... so they say! So what is our game plan? I know I stay with things longer when I know others are " with me " . It sounds like several are planning on taking the challenge! I for one have to start walking the talk! I talk of losing weight .... but it just never happens. I know my friends are sick of hearing me talk of intent. I try for a while and then tend to get discouraged that I'm not losing. Exercise is lacking in my life ... so during this 100 days I want to do better at that. I also need to drink more water. Of course eating better heads up the list. Summer should be a little easier for me - as I won't be working. There is always food around in my office that temps me (and gets the best of me) and I travel quite a bit for my job, so I tend to snack while driving and eat out often. My stats: I'm 5'7 " and currently weight 184 lbs. When I was 160, I wanted to lose weight ... then at 170, I wanted to lose weight. I'm going in the WRONG direction!!!!!!! None of my summer clothes fit - except a few pair of black capri pants. I wanted to be able to fit into some of my shorts this summer - but I won't be able to right now! That bums me out. (Especially since I'll be going to a birthday party for my sister and her husband next week. We are going to a baseball game. I so wanted to look better .... but here I sit at my all time high! I have no idea what I'm going to wear. It doesn't help that my sister always looks great - at a size 10 or less!) Let's keep in contact often .... ¸..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- Kathy -:¦:- -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*

Next week and the party will come, one way or the other. But depending on what choices you make this week, you may no longer be at your all-time high. --A
