Religious Fanatic Question

My nada is involved heavily in the mormon church. she takes it to the

extreme and is far more strict than most other church members. when i

moved out at 17, i chose not to participate in the religion anymore. im

not saying there is anything wrong with it, it just wasn't for me. but

since then my nada has been OBSESSED with me not being mormon. she

sends church magazines to my apartment, has missionaries try to contact

me, and sends constant texts about how i need to repent and how i used

to be such a " good " person and how im living in sin blah blah blah.

whenever we talk it is all she can talk about really. I know how to

deal with all of this and set boundaries, but my question is, why is

she so obsessed with this ONE thing. its like nothing else matters

except for me going back to the church and being mormon again. its all

she cares about and all she talks about. I just want to know why she

has chosen THIS ONE THING to be obsessed with and focus on. Why is THIS

thing so important? Why wouldnt she find many things to bother me about?
