Guest guest
Hi Bill..My daughter is doing great on Miralax and activia yogurt. My question is that the GI doc said it couldn't' be fixed so easily if it were neurogenic bowel. Much as I would love to believe that, I am sure it is false and am asking others opinions on his statement. I have learned that the most expert of MDs can give misinformation. It is so disheartening to not be able to take their statements as true without doing one's own research. Sigh. Thanks for the response! Randee In a message dated 11/17/2011 10:57:40 A.M. Our GI said the diagnosis is Irritable Bowel Syndrome/Constipation type as opposed to Neurogenic Bowel because Neurogenic Bowel would not be so easily fixed with fiber and Miralax. I know this is wrong, yes? Randee [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. We Are Not Doctors.
