Guest guest
New as I am both to this group and weight watchers, this is a great way to focus on the positive! Thanks....and here's mine. 1. Hubby actually enrolled in weight watchers with me, meaning I have a " buddy " , and I only have to shop and cook one style. 2. We both joined the Wellness Center at the hospital, which needed Doctor's approval and stress tests....we both got blessings from our doctors to go ahead!.....and passed the tests! We start tomorrow. They have full gym and a pool and spa...plus classes. Cant wait!! 3. I lost 9# first week, and hubby lost 8.5. Good morale boost. 4. My sister is getting married next Saturday and family is all coming from Michigan (we are in Florida) for a reunion/wedding. Excited about this. 5. My housework is DONE, and I have a couple days to spare, lol before company comes......this energy level is great! 6. I found a great deal coupon on internet for home shopping network and saved $25 on a 25.01 purchase! (First time buyer thing), and ordered some quick, self tanning product I have been wanting....cost to me .50!! 7. It is sunny, beautiful and 85 outside....and I just got back from a walk on the ocean...and saw dolphins.....FLIPPER!! They were playing and having a great time. I love Florida. 8. I stayed within my points all week.....and have a bank of them also! Thank goodness for Skinny Cows! 9. I can wear my favorite jeans already without stopping breathing to get them zipped! 10. This group and the support of others is going to make this new way of life and eating quite interesting....THANKS! KT

Guest guest
Ok, here goes mine! Great idea by the way! 1) My hubby got a promotion this week which means that I don't have to go back to work this fall like I was thinking about doing! My youngest is 4 and this one more year home will give me time to spend w/ him before he has to go to school all day! Praise God!! 2) I am down about 2 pounds even though it's " that time " !! 3) We are finally getting some long needed rain here in OK! I love storms and we might even get one tonight! (No tornadoes, please!) 4) It's spring! Everything is green again and coming back to life! 5) I got to go to an annual Herb Festival this morning with my hubby and oldest son. It was a pretty morning and I got some more herbs for my herb bed - which is doing so nicely on it's 3rd year out there! I even dried my own herbs this year for the first time! 6) My Dad gave me 6 tomato plants to plant this year - my first time for tomatoes. I planted them 2 weeks ago and they're still alive!! LOL 7) My hubby finished a goat pen for me, and I now have 5 pygmy goats out there (which is so relaxing to watch for me) and 2 of them are going to kid, so I'll get to play with babies any day! 8) I was able to sign up for enough short summer classes this year to complete my needed points to keep up my teaching certification for another 5 years. (I was hoping not to have to take a 3 hour course right now due to time!) 9) My friend and I were able to get together last night and scrapbook - always fun to be with her! 10) I have 3 of the greatest guys in the world in my life...Hubby, and Josh! They all give me more love and attention than a girl could ever ask for!! 11) Gosh, one more! I didn't even think I could think of 10!! LOL My mom joined WW with me! Now I have a buddy to go with! You all have a great week! I'm pretty pumped just thinking about all of these blessings!! Thanks, Pollyanna!!! LOL Angie

Guest guest
Hee hee! I am LOVING everyone's lists! Isn't it awesome to share the good things going on in your life? I actually started doing this with friends a few years ago during a particularly difficult time of my life. It really helped to focus on the positive and put things into perspective. (I am the type that tends to let a difficult time overtake my life, so this helped me to see that it was just a PART of my life, and that the other parts were going fine to awesome.) What do you teach Angie? I teach high tech IT classes (networking and A+ computer maintenance and repair) and just love it. My kids are such fun! (Which is why I will take them field trips to Gameworks and actually play WITH them. I kicked hiney at Virtual Fighter. Hee hee hee...although said hiney was kicked back at Pod Racer.) Guest guest
1) I started walking again after a long hiatus, and the exercise felt good. 2) I hung out with friends Friday and Saturday night, and had a lot of fun playing poker, Talisman, and six degrees of kevin bacon. 3) I have several friends to hang out with 4) two of those friends are thinking of rejoining/joining for the first time Weight Watchers....and the mutual motivation we'll be able to provide each other will be good. 5) My grandmother finally realized she needed to hire a live-in nurse. She lives on the fourth floor of a condo, and we can all breathe easier now that we know in case of an emergency she will be able to get out of the building. 6) I am healthy, my mom and dad are healthy, my brothers, sisters, nephew and neice are all healthy. And while my grandmother's physical health is deteriorating, at age ninety she still has good mental health. 7) I received a check from an online magazine for a story I wrote. (My first paying short story!....$10...but it's a start.) 8) I paid my taxes on time-- and almost 12 hours earlier than last year (I mailed the check about noon Monday) 9) I've lost 21# so far...21# I will never see again. 10) I read a good book this week
