Guest guest
My son was on Depakote for aggression. He had not had any apparent seizures at that point but I suspected he was having silent ones. We had to eventually take him off of it because it caused his white blood count to drop. After taking him off of it he had 2 grand mal seizures. Then we did the eeg, which didn't capture anything. Then we put him on Keppra and he has been seizure free for 6 months now. Wow - thanks so much once again. So I really have some investigating to do to determine what is making her go so bonkers. I quit Yasko a couple years back (after 2 years of draining my wallet)... the nerve calm RNA is a gift they sent me on one of my kids birthdays.I know we have strep issues for sure - our whole family. - did your doc put your child on a trial of depakote despite the EEG not showing seizure activity? How did you determine it was seizures at 13 yo - did they do other testing? Thanks,Kim >> Kim, the hair pulling is called trichotillomania. Strep is usually involved, and yes comes with rages. Strep likes to hang with measles and possibly rubella (what does Yasko say about that?) so you may have to do a multipronged approach.> > Google syphilinum and trichotillomania and see what comes up.> > Gayatri>
