Guest guest Posted September 27, 2003 Report Share Posted September 27, 2003 Hello, My name is Lee, and my 5 month old son got an rx. for a cranial orthosis on Monday. There is a local helmet facility 20 minutes away from the house and then there is a doc band facility about 2 hours away in L.A. The pediatric neurosurgeon prefers the doc band, while our local pediatrician has patients in the helmet and says that they really work. My husband and I decided to go with the doc band, based on what the pediatric neurosurgeon suggested we really feel comfortable with him. His casting appointment is on 8/15.
