Guest guest Posted December 10, 2011 Report Share Posted December 10, 2011 Band 41 is one that cross-reacts with all spirochetes, so it is not specific for Lyme disease. There are also dental spirochetes that are common and can produce a positive 41 band on a Western Blot. It does not rule out Lyme, but it does not confirm it either.
