Guest guest
Janie.... Don't forget..... It's only cheap in the US if you can see a doctor and get a prescription.. for those without insurance that can't cover doctor costs out of pocket the only way to get Armour is to import it and that is not cheap, it can run as high as $40 and $50 a bottle. For those who have insurance that covers the doc visits and the labs to get the prescriptions then the cost for Armour is cheap, even if the insurance does not cover the cost of meds.. Guest guest
Mine costs $20-$25 from my homeopathic doctor. Guest guest
Have him give you a script and go to Sams, Walmart or Costco. It is cheaper there. I don't get it through my insurance. Guest guest
Okay...thank you I'll try that...Plus his is generic & tastes horrible...Armour is so much easier to dissolve under my tongue than this other brand. ) JAMY wrote: > > Have him give you a script and go to Sams, Walmart or Costco. Guest guest
It's not Armour brand. I didn't count them but I think that there are Sixty 60mg tablets per bottle...I looked the brand name up once but I can't remember it now. The pill has a TCL 022 on one side and nothing on the other side...they taste so bad... loboshe wrote: > > Mine costs $20-$25 from my homeopathic doctor. Guest guest
Janie... I know... *warm smile* It's just that I'm not the only one that isn't able.. I'm just making sure that the others in my situation don't misunderstand. I've already met several folks that are looking at bills of $500 to $1000 for labs and doc visit to get that prescription.. and depending on the doc the longest that is good for is one year... some will not make it refillable requiring you to come back in 30 days.... that means another office visit and more labs... with another hefty price tag... I've recently heard of one doc that would not make the prescription valid for a three month order from Canada. She was faced with all the shipping charges for just one bottle..... The doc refused to make it good for three months... She now orders from over seas.... See, the doc was not into Armour but gave in... but then she found that she could not get it at a local pharmacy... small town... We figured that that's why the doc stood fast on just a 30 day prescription. The local pharmacy wasn't willing to order that small an amount for one person. If she couldn't get it at a decent price she'd have to give in and stay on $ynthroid. She placed an order overseas and we're both pretty eager to hear his reaction when she goes back in later this month.
