Guest guest
Hi Limin, That sounds really good. its is coco water kefir or did you actually use the meat like a pudding? Donna Gates in BED suggests it by itself or with a light meal and it can assist in digestion.. Misty Coconut Kefir I think I have just successfully made 2 liters of coconut kefir, after the fail attempt of sprouting some blackeyed beans, which went sour and gave my son a diarrhea. Can someone advise me on the dosage of kefir and the best time to take it? Thanks much. Limin

Guest guest
Limin- You could start off with a small amount (a few spoonfuls) to check for reaction/ die-off. We eventually went to about a cup twice a day. I did stop after a while as I started seeing some negatives- I believe this is not very common. FWIW - later at a local meeting, a lady who does a lot of fermenting and teaches it told me that apparently coconut water, and hence YCK chelates (or at least pulls) mercury and some kids who start off well on the YCK don't do as well later. It seemed to work well for me, but I stopped making it when I stopped giving it to my son. I hope to 'revisit' it soon for both of us. > > I think I have just successfully made 2 liters of coconut kefir, after the fail attempt of sprouting some blackeyed beans, which went sour and gave my son a diarrhea. Guest guest
Your welcome Limin. I guess it would be a personal thing, i do really well with the fermented coco water.. but i can imagine it could cause some sensitivities and die off in others.. Can you remind me what you suggested a while back for pesticide toxicity? I believe it was detoxosode.. can you remember by any chance? Guest guest
Limin, We have been having coconut kefir and cultured vegetables for over 3 months with very good results. I started giving my kids coconut kefir 2 tablespoons two times a day (on waking and before going to bed on an empty stomach)for a week and as they didn't show any negative reaction to it I added one table spoon every week untill they had 1/2 cup twice daily and on weekend 3 times. They also have cultured vegetables with every meal(including breakfast) to help digestion. You can dilute the kefir with a bit of water( the same way you did with Recthts-Regulat from biopure) as it can a be a bit strong on it own, but if your son likes acid foods he may enjoy it. Donna Gate said that the coconut kefir and cultured vegetables are a good way to detoxify the body in a natural, gentle and safe manner and also a good way to nourish the body and I can see that she has a point as my son is doing better and better every day, we can't believe that his reading and understanding has excelerated so much in the last couple of months it may not be just the cultured foods but I give them also the credits for my son academic improvements. It is a hard to do it continuesly but at the end it pays off. At the moment I buy 20-30 coconuts a week to kefir them as we all drink the kefir . For adults is recommended to take 1 cup three times a day and for kids 1/2 cup .
