diabetic vitamin

I take the " Alpha-Betic " (cute name) vitamins on a regular basis. Kind of

expensive, and I'm not sure that they are any better than " regular " vitamins

(not marketed to diabetics), but they seem to contain a nice variety of

stuff, and doesn't seem to screw up anything.

Are there other multi-vitamins out there that people are taking along these

lines?

I was at the pharmacy to pick up my meds today and I purchased a

multi vitamin especially formulated for diabetics. It's called ALPHA

BETIC and can be purchased online at www.alphabetic.com

I bought these over a year ago when I was first diagnosed. They

give me a headache and make me feel sick to my stomach. I'm back to

my regular multi vitaman, calcium, flaxseed oil and now dandelion

root.

Hi Jacki,

My Dr advised me to take a prenatal vitamin. So that

is what I take daily with my other meds

I have started taking that one this week also.

I have been taking the Apha Diabetic vits also and have no side effects at

all. They are closing them out at the Save On drug stores and I got them

for $6.50/100. I bought all they had. Going to go to another one tomorrow

and see if I can get more at that price.

What brand of prenatal vitamin do you take? I take prenatal

vitamins too b/c I have found them to be much more effective for

me than the regular multi-vitamins. The brand I get is OTC

from Wal-Mart.

I know Wal-Mart carries them, about $7.50 a bottle here, I think.

I buy the brand name spring valley

I buy them at a local pharmacy.. The closest town to

me .. where my kids go to school is abt 2000 ppl Yes,

I m in the woods! lol
