spreading the word about plagio

I want to let everyone know how easy it's been to spread the word about plagio. in my neighborhood. I didn't want people to think that Alyssa was a freak or that something was "wrong" with her so I decided to write an article for my community newspaper. I explained what plagio was and how the DOC band works. I also explained how to avoid plagio. At the end of the article I added my phone number if people had questions. They added a picture of Alyssa wearing her band. The paper just came out and people have already started calling with questions about their children's heads. I tell them that I am not an expert, only a parent who continued to seek out treatment for my daughter. I feel good about letting people know what plagio is and that there is help out there. I highly recommend that other people do the same thing to increase awareness and let people know why their child is wearing a band.
