Guest guest Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 hi , with any of the puffer esp using a steroid powder, make sure you swill your mouth out afterward or just have a largish glass of water. Also, using bicarb to brush teeth / mouthwash helps reduce thrush - which is what makes the voice hoarse. Also do a decent voiced cough afterward to clear vocal cords of residual powder.
