Its going to be a better year

Happy New Year everyone.

I am worried about Bob, he says it is his back that is giving him extreme pain but I am concerned that it is urinary strictures that prevent him from emptying bladder or his liver that is progressively getting worse. He looks yellow but people tell me that I am only seeing the glass as half empty and not half full. He does not want to call the doctor saying that they can not do anything more for him. You guys, I am in a feeling of hopelessness and helplessness here and can not seem to shake it.

I read so many here suffering and know I should be a more supportive caregiver and it does not do Bob any good to see me so upset. I am constantly on edge and waiting for the crisis to come. What do the rest of you do to delete the fear that overwhelms you or is it only me. I worry when we don't hear from Phil, , Darin, Jim etc. and envision the futileness of this disease. Please forgive the darkness of this post but I needed to vent.
