Guest guest
I always figured it was bacterial stuff. You just don't know what's up with ocean water, LOL? With tuna and salmon, it's the mercury content. While it's not enough to kill us- it's more than the norm, and definitely more than considered safe for a pregnancy. It is supposed to be OK in moderation <I think it's a 6 oz piece per week - but I can take one BITE that is heavier than 6 ozs... so....) I mean, common logic would dictate that you do not want to have any salmonella or e.coli or other bacterially prone items during your pregnancy, so I guess that is why? I don't know. Just don't LOL.
