Guest guest Posted May 21, 2010 Report Share Posted May 21, 2010 I just sent an e-mail to President Obama today urging him to expedite the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ approval to begin immediately the sand project to protect our coast-line, hoping that parts of it will still be protected from oil spill in the Gulf. The damage which could have been done by the dispersent finally banned by the EPA yesterday will not be known immediately. As you probably know, and as BP knew, this chemical was banned 10 years ago by England. Our State Bird, the brown pelican, is once again at risk as well as our other birds, animals, seafood, sea animals, marshlands, etc. Please, won't you please do the same.
