Hi Debi here,

I woke this morning and I am in surprising little pain but my skin seems to be numb. I can actually pinch the skin between my finger nails and NADA. No pain nothing. SOme one has to have information on this. Can this be part of FM? Debi Y.

Yup. I have the same problem sometimes. I don't know if it's related

to FMS or not, but it does happen. It tends to affect my feet and

hands more than anything else yet it's not a circulation problem

(talked to the doc and he checked that out; circulation is normal).

Watch yourself, just as a diabetic would, for wounds. I've severely

injured myself several times when this happens because I couldn't feel

a cut or a burn.
