Guest guest
Hi Guys I'm here in Nashville (doing in-service training for Nashville Metro) and just thought I'd pass on a bit of info. For those that look for things to do before the conference, I just saw a commercial on TV advertising the " champions on ice " (including most of the olympic gold medalists) will be here August 9th just a day before the conference. Also, when checking airfare, check southwest.com for those looking for a deal. Southwest doesn't list their fares on travelocity or expedia and Nashville is one of the many hubs of southwest. Opryland is definately the place to stay! It is beautiful and oh so convinient! Though the Radison is " just accross the street " , that means about a mile from the radisson to the convention center side of Opryland. Opryland does charge for ALL parking so plan for a few extra bucks if you are driving. Go to opry.com to check out the grand ole opry. I just went and WOW is all I can say. From old timers like and Porter Wagner to " new country " like Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley and Cagle and Phil Vassar. It was over 2 hours and a great show. A must no matter what music you like! Well, for those that are bound to ask - what is apco, go to the pstc911.com web site and click on our links section that will then offer you the apco web site - check it out and hopefully we'll all meet in MUSIC CITY in August! road warrior
